Transcriptionists' word-expansions

Expansions, or AutoCorrect, are an MT's best friend. These allow the transcriptionist to identify common words or phrases with a keyword that she can call upon in the report for faster typing.

For example, an MT may create an expansion for the phrase 'The patient is ' and save it with the keyword 'tpi'. Next time that phrase is dictated, all the transcriptionist types is 'tpi' and it is replaced automatically with the full phrase.
